Description
I so wish I had more of this stone! I brought this arch-shaped lapis lazuli back from a buying trip in Tucson, and as such, it–and this necklace–are one of a kind. Clean metalwork embraces the stone, which I have balanced on a tube bail (something that's shown up in my work for years, and which I consider part of my signature), so that it hangs quite simply from an unassuming neck wire. Designed to be reversible, the pendant also features my confetti design on the other side, bringing greater versatility and (hopefully) double the wear!
Designed 2015. One of a kind.

Notes
Please note that I choose to feature witness marks in my metalwork; these are slight imperfections left by my hand tools or from the quirks of my process. I consider them maker's marks, finger-prints that reflect the genuine way in which I seek to design and make jewelry with soul and substance. My pieces are made by hand, perfectly imperfect.
